Where are my notes stored? Can anyone else see them?
On your own devices and in your own iCloud. We have no servers and cannot see any of your notes.
Why is a note missing on my other device?
Make sure both devices use the same Apple ID with iCloud and InStash sync turned on. Sync can occasionally take a few seconds.
A note disappeared from my desktop.
It was probably tucked away. Open the note list (⌘L), find it and choose Show on Desktop.
Can I use it without iCloud?
Yes. Turn off sync in Settings and notes are stored only on that device.
