In Herdsman on your computer, open Settings › Phone and scan the QR code. On the same network it connects directly; elsewhere it connects automatically or through an encrypted relay.

Only phones you have paired can reach your computer, and every connection is end-to-end encrypted. Screen viewing and control need your permission on the computer, and you can unpair from either side at any time.

Pairing by QR code needs no account. Sign in on your computer if you want to connect across networks or receive notifications.
